A BRIEF HISTORY

In 1988, Swabi was given the status of a district. District Swabi is one of the fertile lands of KPK. In Swabi, majority of the people belong to the farming profession. There was a time when Swabi was lagging behind in Education and in government schools, there were not sufficient facilities and enough capacity to accommodate students and get them educated; As a result, many students could not continue their education. Well-to-do families used to send their children to cities like Peshawar and Abbottabad to get them educated. People craved for a standard educational institution in the area.
Before 1990, Mr. Asad Qaiser and his team used to provide students with free education during the summer vacations very enthusiastically. They won the heart as well as trust and confidence of the people by dint of their sheer sincerity, hard work and devotion.

Keeping in view this idea and spirit in 1990, they established a private School in Zaida village named, “The Quaid-e-Azam Public School Zaida” in order to lessen the burden on government schools, to teach and to train the students painstakingly. In a little while, this institution got the success in the local area. Afterwards, demand for a girl’s school was in full swing. In 1995, “The Quaid-e-Azam Girls Public School” was established in Zaida. Shortly this school also got success and touched the hearts of the people.

Rapidly students streamed towards this institution from far and wide which resulted in heavy burden on these two institutions. There was a big problem for the students of remote areas to be there and get quality education. To handle this situation, in the year 2000, “The Quaid-e-Azam Public School, Swabi” was established as the “District Headquarter Swabi”.

Upon the completion of school level course by a large number of students, the need for a college arouse on the part of people of the area. In 2003, “The Quaid-e-Azam College, Swabi Campus” was established at Panj Pir, Swabi. Afterward, in 2006, a separate girls campus named “The Quaid-e-Azam Girls School and College, Swabi” was established with the same zeal and dedication. After that there were four schools and two colleges which laid the foundation of, “The Quaid-e-Azam Group of Schools and Colleges System”.

Not only from Swabi but students from all over the KP province used to come to these institutions in order to quench their thirst. Those students were provided with hostel facilities as well. At the moment, it was the vision to enlighten the nation in other parts of KPK and students were facilitated in this regard who used to come from distant areas.
